Apps
Some examples of the amazing apps that we've created to support your learning.

[The apps open in a separate site, itch.io]

Click on the image to see random maze building, a project in the A Level D1 module. The maze is generated using a Recursive Backtracking Algorithm, and then automatically solved using a left hand maze solving algorithm.

(You'll never get lost in a maze again!)

See our blog for more details on the maths.
Rabbits and Foxes: click on the image to see a predator-prey simulation, used to teach equations. The rabbits eat the flowers, the foxes eat the rabbits. Both rabbits and foxes need to eat and drink to survive, and can reproduce to have children.

(The loud munching sounds are when a fox eats a rabbit. The quiet munches are a rabbit eating a flower.)

Explore what happens when you change the initial numbers of each animal. Use the space and arrow keys to fly around the world.
Hex World: click on the image to see an app that creates hexagonal worlds using a tessellation of hexagons, rectangles and triangles. This type of virtual 3D world is used in strategy games like Civilization and Age of Wonders.
